The Nitemare Performance Pro Sleeved & Hardened Oil Pump Driveshaft incorporates the best in materials and craftsmanship.  Our driveshafts are made from heat treated high carbon steel, with a Rockwell hardness of between 28 - 32.  This driveshaft is gun drilled for the ultimate in reduced rotating mass (weighs only 159 grams). A custom honed sleeve is pressed onto the oil pump end of the driveshaft and then a solid dowel pin is also used to doubly secure the sleeve. Our Pro Sleeved & Hardened Oil Pump Driveshafts should be used in all high performance Pontiac engines builds.  This part represents secure yet very cheap insurance for one of the most vital parts of the oiling system.
