The Nitemare Performance HP Sleeved & Hardened Oil Pump Driveshaft incorporates the best in materials and craftsmanship.  Our driveshafts are made from heat treated high carbon steel, with a Rockwell hardness of between 28 - 32.  A custom honed sleeve is pressed onto the oil pump end of the driveshaft and then a solid dowel pin is also used to doubly secure the sleeve. Our HP Sleeved & Hardened Oil Pump Driveshafts should be used in all performance Pontiac engines builds.  This part represents secure yet very cheap insurance for one of the most vital parts of the oiling system. This shaft weighs 180 grams compared to 159 grams for our Pro-version.
